Treasure: mini social

I love things that make my life easier.
Wet hair pulled back in a pony tail.  Paper plates in a pinch.  The lady who offers to return my shopping cart for me (What?  Do I look like I need help with my four bags, writhing toddler, and keys lost at the bottom of my purse?).  I love things that make my life easier.  So of course, I love The Mini Social.

An online shopping boutique extraordinaire for mom, baby, and child, The Mini Social delivers regular emails to my inbox informing me of all the great deals I just HAVE to have.  The Mini Social enables me to move my thumb a few inches down from the keyboard to caress the touch pad with a sweep and a click, and there it is, right in my shopping cart: the most adorable pair of Livie & Luca shoes for Little Friend’s fall wardrobe.  Major shopping item crossed off the to-do list in under four seconds.  Life, simplified.

All the best, all on sale?  Pinch me.  It’s too good to be true.

Kate Quinn Organics...on sale for a limited time at Mini Social

I’m one of those obnoxious moms who needs an antidote to the Babies ‘R Us tacky, cheap, unimaginative clothes selection.  But I don’t want to pay big bucks for quality and uniqueness.  Yeah, I know.  Cheap and obnoxious.  Luckily, we’re a big club, us cheap skate obnoxious fashionista mamas, because sites like The Mini Social are doing swift business keeping us abreast of fashion-forward mom and kid designer products up to 60% off retail prices.  Since it takes one to know one, I’m not surprised to learn that the brains behind The Mini Social are moms themselves who were snatched from impressive fashion industry jobs to create this fabulous sale site.  Clearly, these moms know their stuff.  The brands selected for sale through The Mini Social have been so overwhelmingly charming and desirable, my Christmas wish list has grown to consume a serious chunk of memory on my iPhone.  Mom and baby gear that’s affordable and adorable?  Believe it or not, thanks to The Mini Social, it’s true.

Clothes for mom.  Clothes for baby.  And every kid accessory–functional or frivolous–you can imagine.

Coming soon to Mini Social...Blue Avocado bags

What’s not to love about a site that hops from clothes to baby blankets to sunscreen to shoes, all in one day’s sale?  Currently The Mini Social is offering sales on Maclaren toy strollers, vibrant candy-colored (and eco-friendly) Little Seed baby wear, Kate Quinn organics, Red Wagon toddler clothes, Baby Genius cds and dvds, and irresistible Bazoongi play houses.  Each sale has a countdown at the top of the page urging your thumb to scroll to the “buy” button before time runs out.  (I’m remembering the same panic I felt when that darn Outburst buzzer started going double time.)  Luckily, if I miss one sale’s appearance, other great contenders are waiting in the wings.  One of my favorite brands, TEA Collection, is slated for an upcoming pajama sale, as is a reusable bag company called Blue Avocado.  (If I buy the bag, do I get to look as great as the lady in the picture?)

Join the exclusive club.

Unlike invitations to jewelry, kitchen ware, and candle parties that I’d rather dodge than attend, The Mini Social is a members-only site for which I’ll gladly queue up.  Fortunately, they’re not being stingy with their memberships these days.  For the price of your email address and some basic personal information, you too can join the land of looking fabulous for less.  Even better, if you then turn around and invite your BFFs, their initial purchases will earn you $10 a piece toward your own shopping.  (TEA pajamas, coming right up.)

So what’s keeping you?  Go sign up!
Really, I’m wondering why you’re still sitting here reading what I have to say when those sales clocks are ticking away.  Get over to The Mini Social and let the sales frenzy begin.
